Many of us are engaged in - or have been - in using various sites and services for meeting a kinky play partner or maybe even searching for a lifetime dominant or submissive life partner.
Naturally we meet lots of failure. So does the vanilla majority.
What has been the biggest hindrance for you?
- Site’s format
- Fees
- Lack of photos
- Poor quality of profiles
When you’ve started to talk with dom(mes) and submissive men and women what have been the biggest hurdles:
- Lack of verbal skills
- Dishonesty
- Their expectations
- Distance
The problem with posing a question like this is the possible answers verge on infinity. To reduce it to the nutshell: what are the most common or most frustrating aspects of BDSM dating you’ve encountered?
Have you simply decided to accept the imperfection or just given up?
What strategies and techniques have you evolved to make kink and fetish dating less stressful, more successful?

Online, some of my biggest problems come from the hordes of morons.
First, there are the “dominant” women who have totally unrealistic expectations……the lazy, greedy types who want to sit back and contribute next to nothing while expecting me to do lots of housework and be unfulfilled.
Then there are the egotistical shlubs who refuse to talk with anyone who doesn’t do the whole “W/we, Y/you” netiquette thing. They’re the ones who don’t even acknowledge people who don’t grovel before them and address them as “Your Most Gracious Dommeliness Princess IcyBitch, Ruler of inferior males Everywhere”.
And plenty of women won’t even read a private message since their inbox is full of approximately 8,472 messages that say “im b ur slav i have no limits bi sissy slut”…..the sincere messages get outnumbered by the sludge.
Then there’s the distance thing.
So I look for a partner more in the local scene. And distance is much less of a problem here than it is online. Still, the quantity of single dominant women isn’t anywhere near what it is online, which is a major disadvantage.

I note the lower case i and m.. and I’m cracking up!
The sad thing is that roo-roo does not exaggerate, it’s all true. And it makes it difficult for the good Dommes and good subs.

One thing that the “Princess Mistress IcyBitch” stuff makes difficult is when guys write to me like that. You know, “i’m hoping to be Your slave.” It turns me off, but I have to recognize that they may just be making their best guess about what will please/attract a dom, and it’s not really correct to hold it against them.
